When asked about the signs of His coming, part of Jesus’ reply was:
Famines, pestilences, earthquakes, persecution, etc. (Matt. 24:7-9): Coronavirus, locusts, damage churches, synagogues, etc. Kingdom against kingdom (ethnos against ethnos; people group against people group (Matt. 24:7): could include black race against white race, Sunni Muslims against Shiite Muslims, etc. Iniquity shall abound (Matt. 24:12): Abortion, gay marriage, riots, deceit, etc. Like the days of Noah (Matt. 24:37: Great wickedness (Gen. 6:5). Distress of nations with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring (Luke 21:25): riots and/or storms, hurricanes, etc. (Rev. 17:15). There now seems to be ample proof that America is the victim of an organized effort to weaken the U.S., and it could signal more trouble between now and the next election.
I have concluded that Antifa, Black Lives Matter, extremist groups and socialists that give large sums of money to the Democrats and their Party (and to a lesser number of Republicans) are tools of the Deep State.
If these people knew Bible prophecy, they would realize that God will let the Deep State succeed, and this submission to Satan is the beginning of an unstoppable worldwide day of trouble on earth (Zeph. 1:15).
Here are ten signs that there is more trouble ahead.

I consider myself a reasonably faithful Christian — raised Roman Catholic, now confessional Lutheran.
But eschatology loses me. Completely and utterly.
That’s probably because I’m a student of history. Bad as things are today, it’s not like there haven’t been wars, riots, crime, epidemics, natural disasters, and political corruption in the past.
One reason I find Lutheran theology so attractive is that it’s not only true to scripture but also pretty consistent and rational — the Augsburg Confession being a prime example.
Ultimately, I believe I requires a massive leap of faith to conclude that any set of contemporary troubles portend the Lord’s Second Coming.
History is nothing but the “register of the crimes, follies, and misfortunes of mankind,” as Gibbon wrote. Probably not the best author to quote, being that Gibbon was a religious skeptic, at best.
But I guarantee that you can look at almost any era in history and find horrors far worse than what we’re experiencing today.

Israel being a nation again (Ezekiel 37) started the time clock countdown for the end of this age.
Then there’s the Abomination of Desolation which a lot of naysayers like to attribute to Antiochus Epiphanes IV in 167 BC. But Jesus refers to it as a future event in future tense.

We can talk about wars, riots, crime, pandemics, and everything else all day long. But the kicker that will literally wake folks up is a New Temple in Israel being built. It’s been talked about for years and the Levites are prepped and ready to go, just a matter of political will for the Orthodox Community.
I read a lot of history also, but the magnitude of evil today is way worse than anything the Romans, Barbarians, or Muslim Saracens could throw at the world. Just the abortion body count alone would pulverize any series of wars or massacres that have taken place in the past.
Life is precious to God and the more people there are on Earth, the more evil it becomes - exponentially.
We are more barbaric today than at any other time in over 2,000 years - my opinion.
1) the first part of his coming again as a thief in the night quickly and suddenly (no man knows the day and the hour) when the Lord shall come suddenly to catch up and meet the saints in the air "and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

2) the signs of his second coming (seen a lightning is seen from the east to the west with ten thousands of his saints as King of Kings and Lord of Lords at the end of the seven-year "Day of Vengeance" - the end of the world).
The signs you speak of are the horrific things that will be taking place during the unimaginable horror of the seven-year tribulation before Christ's triumphant return with his saints.
Now, we are seeing a few previews of the signs of the soon-coming horrific seven-year Tribulation AKA Day of Vengeance. But when Jesus first comes to claim his own (the first part of his coming again), he said,
as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.Matt 24:37-41.
It's going to take everybody by surprise. Everything will be going on as normal. In fact there's a definite note of prosperity, enjoyment, and the market economy at work to the extent that Peter said,
Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.2 Peter 3:3-4.
Anyone who will be paying attention (not too many) will know exactly when the Lord's Second Coming with his saints will take place - Daniel's seventieth week, exactly seven years from the start when the saints and the Holy Spirit exit this world.
Then, it will be so bad that if the Lord doesn't shorten the length of days (earth spinning faster I imagine) no flesh will be saved. That isn't now but it will be utterly unimaginable after we're gone.
There won’t be a rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem until after the right side would win a civil war. Forget Muslims, political and religious obstacles are wildly underestimated.
