A PRAYER of repentance and redemption for America's national sins, based upon Isaiah 59.

FATHER GOD. TRUTH. JUSTICE. LIBERTY.

Surely Your arm is not too short to save, nor Your ear too dull to hear. But our iniquities have separated us from You, GOD.
Our sins have hidden Your face from us, so that You will not hear.

Our nation was founded upon Your precepts, LORD. But America has turned its face from You. Now its foundations are crumbling due to unsavory, compromised leaders and watchmen,
along with a willing public. Anarchists and the disgruntled roam the streets demanding rights and reparations. Our sins have become a stench to You. We humble ourselves and ask forgiveness for America's debauchery.

Our hands are stained with innocent blood and our fingers with guilt.

Forgive us for the murder of millions of babies who have been aborted s in the name of "the right to choose". Amazingly, as abortion's methods become more and more torturous and sinister, millions of people no longer consider its horror and wickedness. Open the blinded eyes of those who choose not to champion the cause for LIFE.

Our lips have spoken falsely, and our tongues mutters wicked things.

Forgive us for allowing Your holy Name to become an expletive, for bearing false witness against others, for lying to cover committed sins, and for turning our language into a cesspool. Forgive us for speaking death instead of life with our words. Forgive us for desecrating Your Covenants, specifically marriage between a man and a woman and the perversion of the rainbow through the LGBTQ movement.

No one calls for justice; no one pleads a case with integrity. They rely on empty arguments, they utter lies; they conceive trouble and give birth to evil. They hatch the eggs of vipers and spin a spider’s web. Whoever eats their eggs will die, and when one is broken, an adder is hatched. Their cobwebs are useless for clothing;
they cannot cover themselves with what they make.

Forgive our nation's corrupt legal system filled with unethical lawyers, judges, as well as, legislators who would go to any means to subvert the law and even to attempt to overthrow the presidency for personal power and gain.

Their deeds are evil deeds, and acts of violence are in their hands. Their feet rush into sin; they are swift to shed innocent blood. They pursue evil schemes; acts of violence mark their ways. The way of peace they do not know; there is no justice in their paths. They have turned them into crooked roads; no one who walks along them will know peace.

Forgive our nation for generational unforgiveness, bitterness, and hate, which has spawned riots, looting, and turned our nation's cities into ruins. Open the people's understanding to know that this endless cycle can only be broken through Your Love. JESUS is the answer, not the government or community organizing.

So justice is far from us, and righteousness does not reach us. We look for light, but all is darkness; for brightness, but we walk in deep shadows. Like the blind we grope along the wall, feeling our way like people without eyes. At midday we stumble as if it were twilight; among the strong, we are like the dead.

We all growl like bears; we moan mournfully like doves. We look for justice, but find none; for deliverance, but it is far away. For our offenses are many in Your sight, and our sins testify against us. Our offenses are ever with us, and we acknowledge our iniquities: rebellion and treachery against You, LORD, turning our backs on our God, inciting revolt and oppression, uttering lies our hearts have conceived.

So justice is driven back, and righteousness stands at a distance; truth has stumbled in the streets, honesty cannot enter.
Truth is nowhere to be found, and whoever shuns evil becomes a prey.

Thank You, GOD, that that JESUS CHRIST won the victory over sin and death! Because of Your great Love for us we have hope for restoration. May Your mercy and grace fall upon our rebellious nation. May You fight on our behalf, LORD, as You did in days of old. The battle belongs to You.

The Lord looked and was displeased that there was no justice. He saw that there was no one, He was appalled that there was no one to intervene; so His own arm achieved salvation for Him, and His own righteousness sustained Him. He put on righteousness as His breastplate, and the helmet of salvation on His head; He put on the garments of vengeance and wrapped himself in zeal as in a cloak.

According to what they have done, so will He repay wrath to His enemies and retribution to His foes; He will repay the islands their due. From the west, people will fear the Name of the LORD, and from the rising of the sun, they will revere His glory. For He will come like a pent-up flood that the breath of the LORD drives along. “The Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who repent of their sins,” declares the LORD.

Thank You for Your lasting covenant with Your people Israel and all who believe in Your only Son, JESUS CHRIST:

“As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the LORD. “My SPIRIT, Who is on you, will not depart from you, and My Words that I have put in your mouth will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants—from this time on and forever,” says the LORD.

May truth, righteousness, and justice prevail in America. Give us the courage and strength to uphold righteousness in the prevailing Godless culture and society in which we live.

HOLY FATHER, we have strayed far from our forefathers. Though undeserving, we pray YOU have pity upon us and once again shine Your Grace on America before there is no America left to stand. Our history, destroyed. Our good deeds, forgotten. All that remains are little evil men who want the power to rule. We seem to be unable to stop them. We pray You give us the courage and strength to at least make the attempt. In the Name of JESUS, we pray. Amen.

O Lord, You Who see everything see that Your bride who keeps oil in her lamp has grown very small, yet still faithful to You. But the bride who has let the oil run out is very large, yet hollow with corruption and idolatry. She has lost her light and her saltiness. She has lost her way, she scatters the sheep and sends them out into wastelands. If it be Your will O Lord, we pray for the Holy Spirit to come upon her, to bring her to remembrance of her need to confess and repent that she may be washed and made spotless once more be Your beautiful saving light in our lost and dying nation. Lord God, thank you for our salvation and Your will and Your word and teaching. You said that we, as Christians, were given to pray for those in authority, for good government, according to 1 Timothy 2:1 and 2.

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.”

Amen to your every word

Dear Lord, as the bitter fruit of rejecting Your Word becomes louder and uglier, let this be a wake up to those who have been neutral to The Good News. As a nation may we no longer entertain the devil. May we no longer deny Your Sovereignty. May we cease moving towards our own destruction.

We ask that our President be covered in supernatural wisdom and discernment. Send in strong angels to battle for our Warrior President. Help him to lead this nation in Truth and in Love.

Protect our hearts, dear Lord, that we will not have fear or anger as we witness the spiritual war manifest itself physically.
