Christian culture taught to be forgiving and turn the other cheek, unlike some other cultures. While that may be a very worthy character trait, perhaps sometimes it has been too often used against us.

Just because someone comes along and quotes Scripture at us does not mean we fold and cave. And this business of *What kind of Christian are you to do ___________?” is a bunch of hogwash.
Being a Christian does not mean being a pushover or wimp and allowing others to walk all over you.
