While it would be unfair to say that the decline has been steady over the whole time, the indifference towards the supernatural is utterly amazing.

God is great.

Beer is good.

People are crazy. And, for the most part, indifferent.

And yes, these are the times in which God has placed us.

Providentissimus Deus

May He be glorified and praised.

Nature my left foot.

Americans ignore God because, as a rule, they have a VERY soft, secure life. Who needs God? Not them.
They are, of course, fooling themselves. We need our good Lord every second of every day. I spend most of my daily prayers praying to God in GRATITUDE for all of His blessings!

Since the churches are all closed I watch daily Mass on the Eternal Word Television Network--EWTN. I follow along in my daily Missal. So, I hear the Gospel and listen to the homily. I'm so grateful for that blessing as well.
How wonderful for me to see such sanity, caring and praying in these times.

There is also a recitation of the rosary at Lourdes every day.
Brrrrr! It sure looks COLD there.
