Great and Mighty are You, Lord God and King. We are so blessed to have The Creator of Heaven and Earth as our Father, Defender, Caretaker and Counselor. You have made us new creatures with a new heart that, first of all loves You and secondly loves others.

We have heavy hearts for the unsaved in our Nation. We yearn for eyes and ears to be open. We grieve for the souls that cannot see Your beauty, grace and truth. As the saved, we find ourselves perplexed as to how they could miss You. We bring these heavy hearts to You for healing.

In obedience to You and out of love, we refuse to be angry with them for the actions they are taking against our Constitution and against what was "common decency". We bless these rebels in the name of Jesus. Along with the Apostle Paul, we pray that the eyes of their understanding would be enlightened. We pray that the Spirit of Truth would guide them into all Truth (the whole, full Truth). We ask You for Your compassionate, amazing, unmerited grace to give them no rest day or night until they become one of your own.

Your Word is clear on what comes to those who go about with a perverse, contrary and wayward mouth that is designed to mislead and deceive. We know how You feel about those who devise trouble and evil continually and who let loose discord. You say that the crushing weight of calamity will come suddenly and that they will be broken without remedy (Pr. 6). We don't desire this to happen to them, but for the sake of Your elect, we trust You as our just God and Defender.

We know that all the attacks we are seeing are from the spirit of the antichrist and we stand united in rebuking him from our President and where we see his actions in our communities. We are the ones who stand restraining him until You take us away. We accept this call on our lives and thank You for the blood and name of Jesus.

For all of those here at FreeRepublic who faithfully stand in the gap, I ask You for strength and victory. Keep us encouraged and help us to be steadfast and faithful, correcting us as we go. Hear our hearts and let thy will be done in the United States as it is in Heaven.

Our nation and its people are in need of You. Please, do not forsake us. Deliver us from those who foam at the mouth carrying rabid disease.
