Osteens church was not the first church his Sunday events were held. He was in Detroit a few weeks ago to much less fanfare and at a prison as well. I believe he is in Canada next week. I am not a fan of Joel Osteen but I thank God that his church was available for such an event. Kanye is reaching a generation that is in desperate need of Jesus as older generations have failed to reach them.
I’m not talking about Kanye, good for him. I’m talking about Osteen and his ‘prosperity gospel’. Yeah, prosperity for him.
Kanye and his group were at the Harris County lock up on Friday.
I find the stories of how Joel Osteen somehow became a pastor interesting. What an unlikely thing to happen!
And the stories of how the church acquired the former Compaq Center to become their sanctuary? Very interesting...
Story after story of where all of the people, skill and money came from in those critical moments for all of that to happen, along with Joel giving constant praise, credit and glory to God for it, is also very interesting,
And, of course, Osteen takes everyone back to the beginning, his dad’s giving his life to Christ, followed by all of the small and large steps in between his father’s conversion to Christ years ago to what his feed store church has become today...
...so this event could take place and reach so many...

Looks like God directed steps to me and ALL of it is fascinatingly interesting!
His Hand is there every step, as near as I can tell, and I appreciate Joel Osteen for sharing this with me. He’s good at that.
Interesting how God works... and through whom He works... and then who gets upset about it and why! Just like in the Bible!
So, it’s all exactly like what Mother Mary said and ust do what He tells you, then keep calm and press on ...
And then be amazed by how He works!
