The President would be the first to discourage any comparison between himself and Our Lord.
He may show up soon, but not the way he did the first time. He warned that when he returns the world will be like it was in the days of Noah and Lot. Look around, I could not think of a better way to describe the world today. Be ready in your heart before the trumpet sounds because at that moment there will not be another chance at redemption and forgiveness and you will stand alone before God for judgement. I have the best lawyer in heaven (possibly the only one), Jesus!
That’s exactly what WILL happen.
The Bible says it. After these crazed Leftist Jihdists kill everyone else (the “infidels”) they all gather to “destroy” the Lord Jesus as he returns. But SURPRISE! They are all melted like butter in the face of His might and glory as the spirit of his mouth cuts them down like a knife through butter (Rev. 19:15-21).
Well they killed Him then for what He said; they most likely would try, try, to do it again.
Excellent post Tony.
Anyone besides me have trouble reading something interrupted with as many references (___) stuck in (___) the middle of an artical(___) like this one?

When Jesus comes, there’s not going to be any hating. “Every knee shall bow.” It’s going to be a stupendous event.
History teaches that Jesus doesn’t fit expectations. So basically the established religious experts and their devoted followers are the ones hit hardest.
A real shame, too. Christ... a fine Christian man, hence the root of the word itself. The one to follow (emulate).
As I’ve been saying, buy American flags before the rush.
“ONLY faith in the Person and Work of Jesus Christ will SAVE you from the wrath to come (John 3:16-17,36, 1 Thess. 1:10). “
What if I am one of the ones taught about that God does not plant the desire to have faith?
Can I be saved?
Jesus made the comparison about how he was hated and the apostles would be too, so why not say some one trying in some ways to follow Jesus or the word of God or even just the USA founding on Biblical principles (Trump) may be hated as surely those same haters (dems etc) would likely dislike having Jesus Christ himself around today in the flesh? It’s more a comparison of what is being done by certain people - not saying Trump IS jesus.
yes every knee shall bow and tongue confess. maybe I missed or mistook something in the bible but I think it infers even those condemned will bow and confess - so, some may do so but not initially of their own free will.
True, but if they hate a man who seeks simple Judeo/Christian values on many levels what about Jesus Christ who is the ETETERNL sum thereof, the Creator, Redeemer and who is Almighty God the Son?
Got to read the whole post kid to get what the post is saying... :)
Amen, that’s the point, the Day of the Lord is at hand and we can read how that will go... Rev. 6-19
Whosoevers and freewill; Isa. 55:1 John 1:12, 3:16-17,
facts!!
My thought is if you really did not have the desire you would not have asked the question.
.
My friends NOTHING is EVER new under the sun! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
Nope.
I'm currently reading Augustine's City of God, written in the early 5th century. When he pulls up examples from Roman history, the names of the people, places and wars are different, but it all sounds very familiar.
"Let the terse summary of Sallust" (Rom historian, 86-35BC) " suffice to intimate the misery of the republic through all that long period till the second Punic war,how it was distracted from without by unceasing wars, and torn with civil broils and dissensions. So that those victories they boast were not the substantial joys of the happy, but the empty comforts of wretched men, and seductive incitements to turbulent men to concoct disasters upon disasters. ...(quoting Sallust again)Frequent mobs, seditions, and at last civil wars, became common, while a few leading men on whom the masses were dependent, affected supreme power under the seemly pretense of seeking the good of senate and people; citizens were judged good or bad without reference to their loyalty to the republic (for all were equally corrupt); but the wealthy and dangerously powerful were esteemed good citizens, because they maintained the existing state of things.
We have or have had posters even here who unapologetically disparage the Bible and its morality, such as damning teachings of it on child discipline and birth control (even advocating schools giving condoms to teens) and inferring the Bible sanctions pedophilia.
