That "global warming" stuff started a long, long time ago.
This’ll get the racists worked up.
A few years ago they were positive that Eden was in Iraq.

Doesn’t the Bible state that the Garden of Eden was in the vicinity of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers? I don’t recall either of those rivers in Africa...
Oh, and for all the Climateers we all know and love (!): I didn’t know they had SUV’s and A/C 70,000 years ago in Africa!!!
This was apparently before the Tigress and Euphrates were rives, when that area was likely a huge lake interspersed with large islands surrounded by rushes 200 thousand years ago.
It was a Botswana Eden.
Her is the music and dance of today there:

Clearly close to the Garden.
Not to stir the pot...but you might want to use GoogleEarth and pull up Tsodilo Hills, Botswana. Turn on the imagery function, and then pull out by 150 miles.
What you then see is a massive irrigation canal network...the size of Arizona. Nice straight lines. It wasn’t built in the last ten, hundred, or even thousand years. The delta around the canal network hasn’t had the water flow in a minimum of ten-thousand years to function.
As for who built the canals? No one knows. But with the size involved....you had to use machinery (road graders, earth-movers, etc).
With the DNA chatter, and they put the original source south of the Zambezi River, and in Botswana....that canal might now be of interest. With the size of this...you could feed 100-million people easily. So it begs the question who built it, and what happened?
No, it does not. People have speculated that the Fertile Crescent around the Tigris and Euphrates match the Genesis description of Eden. Per the Bible, Eden is blocked from humanity by an angel with a flaming sword and so therefore cannot be any known location on the Earth.
So following Warren’s lead, can we all claim to be African American?
Can I get my reparations, too?
***changes in climate turned what was Africa’s largest lake into what is now the Kalahari Desert***
I need to re-watch my old movie SANDS OF THE KALAHARI in which plane crash survivors must survive in that.

RE: The real Garden Of Eden has been traced to the African nation of Botswana,
How does that square with what the Book of Genesis said?
SEE GENESIS 2:10-14:
10 A river flowed out of Eden to water the garden, and there it divided and became four rivers. 11 The name of the first is the Pishon. It is the one that flowed around the whole land of iHavilah, where there is gold. 12 And the gold of that land is good; bdellium and onyx stone are there. 13 The name of the second river is the Gihon. It is the one that flowed around the whole land of Cush. 14 And the name of the third river is the Tigris, which flows east of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.
The Tigris and Euphrates, with their tributaries, form a major river system in Western Asia. From sources originating in eastern Turkey, they flow by/through Syria through Iraq into the Persian Gulf. So, it CANT be in Botswana if Genesis is correct.
Didnt see much sience in the article
Yes, I agree that the Garden is/was blocked to humans by an angel. I wonder, though - pure speculation - if the Garden was removed from Earth in the Great Flood at Noah's time and no longer exists...
