Private revelations are never required for belief. They can be approved, or reprobated, but never required.

It is irrelevant they are not required for belief. What is relevant is Rome has allowed them to be believed.

Among the most egregious is the false promise of the Brown Scapular.

You get to declare what is or isn't relevant? What is relevant is Rome has allowed them to be believed.

Are the novelties and inventions of Protestantism relevant? I ask because the list is a long one, everything from the "secret rapture" to "prayer cloths".
