It’s nice to see some technology brought to Western prayer. I was briefly in Tibet, and I was impressed with the simple technology they had brought to prayer—wind driven prayer wheels. With every rotation of the wheel, a prayer was deemed said.
Of course praying the rosary in itself isn't going to get anyone to heaven.
It wouldn't hurt ANY of us to pray more, however, whether it's the rosary or not.
One of the things a Pope tries to do is to try to start people praying and praying more. This gimmick is harmless and you can BET that some mommies and daddies are going to get some of those for their children to START an idea of prayer.
It's better than spending time bashing the Pope. And you are NOT bashing him...and I'm just sayin'.
