David Carr Attacks Street Preacher

David Carr owns King of King’s radio network out of Somerset Ky. David attacked the street preachers who were trying to preach the truth. He publicly called Chris McComas of West Virginia voices a dumbbell and he said to Rich Penkoski of Warriors for Christ that he hopes he doesn’t preach because it doesn’t do anything. Apparently David wants to just stand there holding a sign while stepping aside to allow children to go into a bar to watch a drag show. David’s actions are a good example of why perverts and child predators are seeing so much success. He would rather attack and rebuke men of God who are calling sinners to repentance rather than rebuke the parents who are sexualizing their children.

Sounds like one group wanted to peacefully inform and one person wanted to shout and yell.

The peaceful guy with the sign seemed to be saying "Just go over there" so people would not include the peaceful group as yelling.

Yelling guy was not going to move even though the majority calm people were probably there first. It's hard to say whether yelling or calmly informing would work better so I'd go with whoever was there first the other should go across the street.

Street preachers. Brings back childhood memories. Summer time on our Brooklyn street corner. We used to sit on the curb and listen to them.

Now that brings back memories. In 2000, I was street preaching in Coney Island to Jewish Russian expatriates. It was going well until about 6-7 Rabbis showed up and began screaming at me in Russian. I opened my Russian bible and started quoting from Isaiah. That went over very well and eve=n their wives got into the screaming match at me. This lasted for about 30 minutes and they got disgusted and left, leaving me all alone on the street.

One young man, recently arrived from Ukraine, actually approached me and asked if I was Christian, and could I suggest a good church in the area. We got at least one visitor from all that. :)

This guy? He used to be a junkie and he will tell you so now he’s “saved”. I guess shouting works with junkies but it does not work with everyone, a lot of people it turns them off, but you can’t tell him that. I have noticed that a lot of “street preachers” are ex junkies and they shout when they street preach so don’t think this is a coincidence

Is why I posted here how does one deal with someone like that?
