A Christian school governor with decades of service has been suspended after saying that she would not have wanted her two sons to read books with LGBT themes.
Maureen Griffith, 73, who worked as an NHS nurse for 40 years, was a governor at Alperton Community School in Brent, northwest London, for more than 20 years.
In May she received a letter telling her that she had been suspended from the governing body after two complaints alleging that she had made “homophobic comments at a public meeting”. She now fears she will be sacked.
The row comes days before the High Court is due to be asked to extend an injunction protecting Anderton Park School in Birmingham from protests by Muslim parents and activists at school gates over its LGBT lessons.
Griffith said she had simply questioned plans to draw up reading lists for library books in LGBT pride month. “I raised that the introduction of LGBT books and pride month into the school had not been mentioned before at any previous meetings,” she said. “I said that parents had not been consulted and that there would be parents with children from religious backgrounds who would object and not want their children to have any form of sex education.

What is now called “sex education” is actually sexual initiation. It used to be called “Corruption of the Morals of a Minor.”
Not accurate to call a school Christian that will not denounce the homosexual agenda. Repent is a Christian word.
It was very foolish of the gays to align with the trannies I think.
I was always very tolerant of homosexuality (full disclosure: my brother was gay and he died of AIDS but that was, like, 25 years ag. I don’t know what he’d think about things today, I’m sure his hair would be on fire like everyone’s is these days!). But now with the lunacy of the trans stuff I’m ready to say a plague on both your houses! I imagine a lot of people are starting to feel this way. Oddly, the lesbians seem to really get it, which is strange.

Either way the Governor is right. Get the parents to weigh in.

The transgendered folks are not well regarded by gays historically. The alliance was something forced by sjws. I have a transgender friend who has quit his injections and is giving up because of relationship problems and not feeling like he’ll ever be taken seriously as a woman. This didn’t surprise me, he wouldn’t pass despite his drag queen experience. He just never felt accepted by the gay community which is viciously judgmental. He’s decided being rejected as a gay man is easier than being rejected as a woman.
So, your friend is a man who wants to sleep with men, and tried to become a woman to do so better. But, he wasn’t trying to be with gay men, anymore, but straight men, and since your friend is actually a man, that didn’t work out.
So, now he’s going to try to live (resume living?) as a homosexual, but he’s not optimistic, because it didn’t work before. I assume he met a lot of phoneys and weirdos, but then again, don’t we all?
Do I understand this correctly?
I feel for him, his life is very complicated. Here is the only advice I could give, maybe he should concentrate on finding one right person, instead of all the classification and defining. And he should definitely stay (resume?) being a man.
