Rom 13:1 “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
Rom 13:2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.”
God puts rulers in place and instructs us to be subject to our “higher powers” the government we live under and not resist. Resistance is judgement. That is what we on the right did with Obama, we knew he was a bad guy, but God put him there for a reason, we respect our God given leaders and fight to change it, peacefully.
True... Also, God gives us what we want as a people, or gives us over to our base desires as a people - Rom. 1:18-32, or lets us reap what we sow as a people... God allows. Great points on what you share but there is another side to the coin also. The book of Judges is a good example or Kings etc...
Praise God that He is ETERNALLY the Sovereign of His creation!
