Not really, in light of John 12:40. God blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts so that is Gentiles could receive and believe and come under God’s Plan of Salvation. Israel’s day is coming, though.
Indeed! The coming seven years of crushing under the tribulum (the Tribulation) are called the time of Jacob’s trouble and in Daniel God says it is the time He has chosen to put an end to sin in Israel.
