Christian politician speaks out on LGBT agenda

A politician in Finland is being investigated by police for quoting the Bible.

Päivi Räsänen is a member of Finland's parliament and former party chairwoman of the Christian Democrats.

In June, she took to social media expressing outrage about the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland supporting gay pride month.

Quoting St. Paul to the Romans, she said, "God gave them up to degrading passions. ... Men committed shameless acts with men," adding, "How can the church's doctrinal foundation, the Bible, be compatible with the lifting up of shame and sin as a subject of pride?"

And, for posting those quotes on her Facebook page, she's now being investigated for hate directed toward an ethnic group.

She is now speaking out, saying in an interview published by FaithWire, "I am worried that the police investigation has had a chilling effect among Christians. It seems that many Christians in my country are now hiding and going to the closet now that the LGBT community has come out to the public."

She encouraged fellow Christians to speak up, saying we must obey God rather than man.

Well this should be an easy court case for her. Since when is the Alphabet group considered an ethnicity?
