One wonders specifically what rhetoric he is talking about? Somehow, the paper seems to suggest that he's talking about Trump's rhetoric, but Trump has not been demonizing Catholics or Christians - the left has. Mayor Pete, for example, and Feinstein, and the abortion movement, and the LGBTQ movement.

I have performed there numerous times in evening concerts; once I participated in a Sunday morning worship service with a visiting choir.
It is a beautiful building. It is roughly squarish (or octagonish), so the reverb is short and crisp. Singing in the center was a unique experience for me.
Most of the great cathedrals for choral music are in Europe or Russia. This is one American cathedral I regard highly; there is one in San Francisco I similarly regard.
These kinds of desecrations are only going to continue - and worsen - as long as secularism and depravity are compulsorily taught in government schools.
