I wonder who these wealthy Catholics are that supposedly now control the American church.

In that sentence I was merely stating the obvious, but to set up what I said afterward.

Thing is, everybody does bad stuff, but not everybody is a Nazi. Everybody does good stuff, but there was only one Jesus.

I go by what the apostle Paul teaches and, even more so, what Jesus taught. And one thing to be made clear is that some cities are Sodom. And there are plenty of cities like that in the US.

Christians are living as the resistance in occupied territory. And the US Today, though it may have enclaves of high values and desire to please God, I believe all of the cities are blue. And by “blue”, I mean they support the leftist lunacy that exists today. Heck, Even Louisville in my red commonwealth is blue. I work in Louisville. It’s not nearly as bad as Seattle (My home of 46 years), but it’s got sections that are just as bad.

i.e. it’s complicated. It’s best to not judge individuals, but I’m happy to judge systems and cultures, and the ACTIONS of individuals - including myself.
