Todd Bentley’s Alleged Homosexuality and Abuse Exposed
pulpitandpen.org ^ | AUG 23, 2019 | staff

In news that surprises few who have followed the sheer depravity of this man – both violent and sexual – this will not be a big surprise, but it is news. Todd Bentley is a major charismatic prophet with the New Apostolic Reformation and has a colossal ministry (especially overseas). He’s also famous from cheating on his wife during the entirety of the famous “Lakeland Revival” and doing supposed miracles by kicking and punching people. After his fall from grace due to his substance abuse and extramarital affairs, he was “restored to ministry” by the biggest names in Charismatic evangelicalism.

Todd Bentley is the hyper-charismatic faith healer who claims to have raised multiple people from the dead and claims he heals people, yet with zero evidence of such healings. He has been involved in sex scandals as long as he’s been known in the charismatic world who fell from ministry and was subsequently restored by Rick Joyner.

A man closely involved in Bentley’s ministry by the name of Stephen Powell has come forward with allegations of homosexual activity and sexual abuse at the hands of Todd Bentley. If these allegations are true, and Todd Bentley has been acting sexually inappropriate with underage teens, then the authorities should be involved in this.

Oh dear, it looks like you didn't get the point!

I'll bet you probably know the difference between using humor, allegory and parables to communicate certain Biblical truths from the clear prohibition against adding or subtracting from the Scriptures. Am I right?

Maybe not. How about you "give and answer" because I'm askething you.

I take that to mean you're not going to answer my questions?

You didn't ask me anything. How about you answer mine?

Beyond the several I have already addressed, I didn’t recognize any pertinent questions in your posts, so I suppose I won’t be answering something I don’t see.

I am lead that I should write further on this topic of 'venal sins' and 'mortal sins'. There are sins which lead to an untimely death. These sins are a plague to the professing Christian who God has born again from above. God makes a distinction to sins: sins of the lost, sins of the born again, and a sin against the still small voice Who offers salvation.

I have written to you Catholics that the Righteousness of Christ is I M P U T E D to us when we are born again. If such an one persists in sin such that the family is profaned, God will chasten them and if they refuse to take the chastening, they will meet an untimely physical death.

When one is born from above/ born again, they will not be allowed by their Father to persist in sin. when Ananias tried to lie to the Body of Christ and thus to the Holy Spirit as He is in each in the Body of Christ, Ananias met an untimely death. He was prevented by God from planting a seed of deception in the Body of Christ to which he belonged.

Know this though, if one professes Christ yet is not born again, they are not a child of God (like this Todd Bentley taking the name of The Lord in vane, claiming born again family status but exhibiting a life of lawlessness) and they will not be chastened by God, for they are of their father, the father of lies and they are purposely living a lie.

@Whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth. If we do not repent of our sin, He will chasten us, and sometimes severely! Example: If Jimmy Swaggert or Jim Baker is a born again believer, he will not continue in sin. If he is a born again believer God will chasten him for the sake of him AND the body of believers. If he is not born again but is pretending to repent, God will let him continue until he goes to his father. What needs be said though is this: if Jimmy Swagger is a born again believer and has repented of his sin, his life will show so great a change that GOD will be praised for that, not Jimmy 'preach cause he don't know nothing else than livin' off believers' Swaggert, who will meet an untimely and public death, not a private just slipping away.

If we say we have no sin, the truth is not in us. God does not fellowship with unrepentant family members, and not with non-family members. When Paul says 'examine yourselves' he is telling us that if we are not repentant when we sin and we are not chastened, we are illegitimate.

And finally, refusing the Holy Spirit invitation to salvation is unforgivable sin.

Best read and video going is this by Andrew Strom.

He is a Pentecostal pastor who has been warning about this new NAR/Word of Faith movement for years. His book is excellent and covers basically the same material, but the video has the advantage of showing actual clips of the behavior.

Kundalini Warning - Are False Spirits Invading the Church? Parts 1-3

I bought the book and read it myself. It’s excellent.

That kicking and punching people started with a crackpot names Smith Wigglesworth*.

He’s supposed to be one of the big names in early years of what has now become the charismatic movement. It’s absolutely staggering the number of people who defend him and his tactics and try to emulate them.

Jesus NEVER abused the people who came to Him for healing.

I went to a G-12 conference in Manila, before I knew what it was. I have never personally seen any kundalini spirit, but I don’t think I really want to either. 👎

It’s such a shame Catholicism has added so much to the Word of God with ‘tradition’ then.

Do you even read what you post? Sheesh man.

  • Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:
  • She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying,
  • How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
  • Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
  • Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
  • But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
  • I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
  • When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
  • Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
  • For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:
  • They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
  • Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
  • For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
  • But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

Proverbs, Catholic chapter one, Protestant verses twenty to thirty three,

They didn’t have professional wrestling when Jesus was around.

And how does this apply to what aMorePerfectUnion has said? Are you claiming aMorePerfectUnion “hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD”? What is the context for your verses?
