In news that surprises few who have followed the sheer depravity of this man both violent and sexual this will not be a big surprise, but it is news. Todd Bentley is a major charismatic prophet with the New Apostolic Reformation and has a colossal ministry (especially overseas). Hes also famous from cheating on his wife during the entirety of the famous Lakeland Revival and doing supposed miracles by kicking and punching people. After his fall from grace due to his substance abuse and extramarital affairs, he was restored to ministry by the biggest names in Charismatic evangelicalism.
Todd Bentley is the hyper-charismatic faith healer who claims to have raised multiple people from the dead and claims he heals people, yet with zero evidence of such healings. He has been involved in sex scandals as long as hes been known in the charismatic world who fell from ministry and was subsequently restored by Rick Joyner.
A man closely involved in Bentleys ministry by the name of Stephen Powell has come forward with allegations of homosexual activity and sexual abuse at the hands of Todd Bentley. If these allegations are true, and Todd Bentley has been acting sexually inappropriate with underage teens, then the authorities should be involved in this.

Do you have unbroken fellowship with The Lord God via His Spirit?... Neither do I. But when I sin I have anadvocate, Jesus Christ The Righteous, who handles my confession, not some appointed priest, appointed by an other religion claiming to be the one true church.
Are you familiar with Paul's advice to the Corinthian believers who had a man in their congregation who was being carnally present with his father's wife? What was Paul's reason for them needing to put that man out of the congregatrion? There is a BEMA Seat judgment coming for believers. That seat is not to re-up their salvation There is the key to your 'forensic' assignations.
Must be terrible to have such an abysmal sense of humor!
Yes.
What was Paul's reason for them needing to put that man out of the congregatrion?
For the destruction of his flesh...so what? If he was "saved," why should anyone else care what rewards he gets at the BEMA seat?
It goes much deeper than sense of humor.I reckon truth was breaking through so satan immediately pricked the indignation nerve, to divert attention from the Truths contained in the little imaginary exchange. It is amazing to witness satan at work ...
NOW you’ve done it!!! :o)
Sorry, perhaps my question was not clear enough for you. ONLY Jesus has unbroken fellowship with The Father Almighty and His Spirit. You can read about what happens when you sin ... or are you claiming to have no sin you ever commit?
Not me! Kermit!!
You didn't get that from a properly catechized Catholic. The Church is quite clear on "private revelation" as all such manifestations are classified.
According to....?
There you go again, tracking along on the wrong rails. The body, Body of Christ, the Body of Believers has responsibility to the Body and the members. And just so you get it, Paul goes into enough detail that we can surmise there will be Saved, Born Again folks at the BEMA Seat who will have no rewards, saved as by fire which ‘tempers the fine metals and amplifies the gems’ (and not pope Gregory’s imagined purgatory).
Do you actually know the difference between Presence within the Believer, and Fellowship?
That was brilliant!
Hey I'm just reading what Paul wrote. What are the limits of this responsibility, and why didn't Paul mention it as a reason?
And I ask again, if the guy is saved anyway, why should anyone care what rewards he gets, or who else in the church partakes in his sinful behavior?
That depends on what you mean. I know an awful lot of Reformed Christians know an awful lot of things that aren't so.
So long as I'm not in mortal sin, my fellowship with God remains uninterrupted.
Thats a change from the usual priests.
Sin is sin. The Catholic division into veanl and mortal sins is a large lie which empowers a priesthood, not believers.
Yeah. What's your point? Obviously, God didn't gank the guy in Corinth.
So you say. My fellowship with God says different.
