Yeah. Never was. He was one of the seeds that started to grow but landed in rocky soil and withered in the sun while the crows ate it.

I would not go so far as to call him a con man. If he were, he would still be doing what he’s been doing as long as the gig is good.

My take is the man was attracted to the Christian faith, but his roots never went deep.

Jesus talked about different seeds that were planted in His parable about the Sower and the seeds.

Marty Sampson is one of those seeds that was not planted in good soil.
