Thank you, Liberty Women, for your good will and good heart. I am a Catholic blessed to have many fine Protestants among my friends and family. I do think we are one family in Christ.
I’m afraid a few (not many, but a few) of the non-Catholic FReepers will admonish you not cast any fond looks at Catholics. Sigh. Just pray for them!

Why encourage someone to join a denomination that says one has to go through Mary first to get to Jesus?
All are contradictions of the New Testament.
I'm actually in awe (sp) of the Church. Catholics have done more good for the cause of Christ than all the Protestant faiths combined. This became clear to me, especially in the past 4 years. I tend to get wordy so I won't go into detail about my own epiphany regarding your faith but I really feel that I've been lied to (most likely out of ignorance) by my faith.
Anyway, I will continue to seek 'His' Truth and learning more about Catholicism.
