Maybe there’s more to the story.

I’d love to delve into the origins of the “family” for the sordid facts. How did these dykes acquire these children, who are obviously the progeny of a man and a woman. One photo shows a resemblance of one of the girls with the more feminine women, so I wouldn’t be surprised if she bore her. Still, who were the fathers?

Does each child have a different father? If so, are they given the opportunity to connect with the origin of half their DNA?

Were the girls the result of a former heterosexual relationship?

Did the women contract with a fertility clinic for some anonymous sperm?

Were the kids adopted? Again, what is there blood relationship to each other? Isn’t it relevant to them?

The woman made their “children” and issue publicly. They owe us answers as they put this out there.

The bottom line is that schools like this don’t just admit children, they admit the entire family into the life of the school/center. By admitting these lesbians’ daughter, they would be admitting the lesbians, with all the deadly poison that ultimately brings.

It is a sound, wise move to reject them. There is no shortage of other schools for the girl.

Let's say the church daycare teaches children that their parents should be married and that marriage is between one man and one woman.

So then, the church is teaching children that their mothers and fathers should be together.

Leaving aside for the moment the question of whether the daycare has the right to deny entry to children of parents in a same-sex relationship. There is no question that they do, both as matter of faith and the law. In the case of parents who divorce, the mother and father are not together. Should the church deny entry to children of divorced parents? Or parents who were divorced and remarried?

Definitely a setup.

When I saw this story, my first thought was about HS organizations and co-ops. Most around here require either a signed statement of faith, or a statement acknowledging that you understand the group’s mission. That’s being up front and honest.

In a similar way, this church was being up front and honest with these women, just by telling them the daycare wouldn’t be a good fit for this child.

In my opinion? No.

But church schools should make sure all parents understand and agree to a statement of faith (or an acknowledgement of church beliefs) before registering their children.
