Whoopi has “spoken out” but Jerry Falwell, Jr. allegedly hasn’t. So what? It’s easy to “speak out,” as Whoopi proves five days a week. As the last line in the article points out, there are Christians, most of whom won’t make it on the news, who are busy working at fighting the problem. Not just “speaking out.” They are engaged in actual virtue, not just in virtue signaling.
I doubt these women ever watch Robertson or Falwell, so they have no idea what they have had to say.

Behar and Whoopi do not know or follow any Evangelicals, including the ones they named. So, they couldn’t possibly know what Evangelicals do, say, or teach. But, of course, this does not prevent them from taking pot shots at Evangelicals.
Incidentally, are any prominent Muslims speaking out against human trafficking and sexual slavery. After all, people who identify as Muslim do a lot of this as PART OF THEIR RELIGION. Personally, I suspect this is why the left is so comfortable with Islam.
