Married priests are allowed by Scripture. This shouldn't be that big of a deal.

You do whatever you want in your own Church.

Antipope Bergoglio is telling us we should take spiritual enlightenment from those who routinely practice infanticide.

We follow Biblical principles on this issue. Most of the church staff is married and have kids.

"You do whatever you want in your own Church."

If you're Catholic, it IS "your own Church" (see many Eastern-rite and now Anglican rite churches, all in Communion with Rome). Married priests aren't the issue....the "rainforest/liberation theology" meme is.

The Eastern Rites Catholic Churches do permit married priests.

Most of the clergy in my Catholic parish are married and have kids, too. We've got four married, ordained deacons in Holy Orders, and two celibate priests.

The principle of the possibility of married priests is not contested, as it already exists as an actuality in the Church. Even in our tiny Diocese of Knoxville, we've got a couple of married priests, ex-Anglicans. That is not the problem here.

The bigger issue is whether these Sankt Gallen apostates behind the scenes, can exploit the indigenous people by turning them into ventriloquists' dummies, write an Instrumentum Laboris to sideline the Gospel as culturally insensitive, replace it with animism-pantheism, and get away with it.

These are racist shape-shifters, the equivalent of fake blackface minstrels, who are using the Amazon faithful as an excuse for founding a new religion, coated in a thin layer of spray-on Christ.

Believe me, this ain't Catholic.

Plus I did mention the Eastern Rites Catholic priests who are allowed to get married, but must do so before going into the seminary.

Amen and second it.

I do not have no problem with have a married clergy,my parish has two married permanent deacons. One of them preached the homily today. And yes,my parish has two celibate priests. What my concern is the pagan stuff.

Ealgeone is not Catholic, however, and I was addressing him.

What Anglican rite churches are in communion with Rome?

And like I said, they can do what they want in their Churches. I prefer to stay with the Roman Tradition.

I do agree that the eco worship crap is more serious, but it all works together to destroy the Church.

I am not catholic. I don’t care what Catholics do. In fact I really don’t care what any religion does.

But I think that many religions have strayed from teaching the word of God to getting too involved in Caesar’s business. The government isn’t getting anyone into heaven; it’s up to us.

What is particularly galling, is that it's not just Amazonian people wanting to "baptize" indigenous customs. To an extent, that can be done. (Wedding rings? A baptized local custom. Flowers on graves? Ditto. Baptismal and Wedding gowns of white? Ditto. No problem.)

But what burns my grits is that this basically German secular/modernists (like that great Amazonian rainforest chieftain, Cardinal Walter Kasper?????) who haven't been able to overturn Catholic faith and morals on the strength of their own faithful/moral reputations (ha) so they have to hide behind some colorful bone-in-nose indigenous guy and say "Hey! Let's get all spiritual and show a little respect for the blessed unseen forces of Nature, booga-booga, and while we're at it let's try'n propitiate the Angry God of Climate Disruption Catastrophe! No CO2! Mega Booga Boogorum Est!"

Their costuming is quaint, but the charade is transparent.

The principle of the possibility of married priests is not contested, as it already exists as an actuality in the Church.

You wouldn't gather that from some of your fellow Roman Catholics.

You'd think having married priests is the end of the world. And for some of your fellow RCs it would be.

I did see the part of having women as deacons. That would be an error and departure from Scripture.
