For Pierantoni, the objective denunciation of errors is not sufficient, especially if we dont dare denounce the particular persons that are responsible for defending, promoting, or tolerating the errors. Therefore, it is not sufficient to exempt the bishops from the equally important duty to identify and explicitly denounce all the people responsible for these errors, with an intensity proportional to their rank and influence.
