A local government communications agency in China recently held a seminar to discuss with Communist Party members the "enormous harm" Christianity is to the atheist nation and identify ways to stunt its growth.
According to Chinese Christian persecution watchdog China Aid, the event, titled "Christianity's Enormous Harm on China's Security," was held on April 22 in the city of Hebi in China's Henan province.
According to the NGO, the seminar encouraged party members to avoid being persuaded by Christian ideology and to sustain "correct views" when it comes to religion.
"The Chinese government often views religions, including Christianity, as foreign attempts to undermine its rule, even though there is no evidential basis for such a claim," China Aid reports. "As a result, they often try to suppress religious adherents, and they openly forbid Communist Party members from practicing a religion."
UCANews.com reports that the Hebi Municipal Radio Administrative Bureau in Henan publicly admitted to holding the seminar on its WeChat page.
"It said the seminar was to help members correctly understand Christianity and prevent the occurrence of ideological deviations," notes the outlet. However, the WeChat message was deleted only two days after it was released.

Funny how in this country, Christianity is thought of as enslaving and hateful.
In countries where the powers that be control almost everything, it’s considered freeing and Loving.
Ironically, or miraculously, China is quite possibly the largest Christian nation in the world. One of these days, when they finally realize who they are, they will transform the world... [in a good way...]
I’m the Queen of England.
I’ve no idea what that means but i’ve stopped trying to understand any of your posts long ago.
Good!
"China's Protestant community had just one million members in 1949;
"In 2010 there were more than 58 million Protestants in China; "That number will swell to around 160 million by 2025;
"By 2030, China's total Christian population, including Catholics, would exceed 247 million."

Harm to the China or the Communist Party?
I believe the Communist Party doesn’t truly care about China (60+ million innocents people killed), so if Christianity harms the Communist Party - I’m all for it.
“As a result, they often try to suppress religious adherents, and they openly forbid Communist Party members from practicing a religion.”
We’re 90% there with the Democrat party.
“And im the Queen of England” means the stated proposition is absurdly untrue.
Becoming a Christian is a true act of freedom. China opposes freedom, encourages dependency on government.
And that is China. The number of Christians, while completely uncounted, is by all accounts, growing very rapidly. Even among the Chinese agnostic, who are many, they do not have negative views of Christianity. All educated Chinese understand that Communism killed the soul of the nation and the people.
Jews and Christians are under tremendous forces of persecution, but when has it been otherwise? When the forces of evil spend so much time and energy attacking certain ideals, doesnt it prove the virtue of those ideals? I knew a man who said that for him, the devil proved the existence of God.
This is what Pope Francis instructed Catholic clergy;

Pete Buttgood agrees
there are too many ignorant people.
It’s the reformation in the church which gave us self determination, and self actualization which gives us individualism as opposed to the collectivist thought of tribal, marxist and islamic oppressive thoughts.
ITs the individualism which along with other Christian infrastructure... (Magna Carta, patent law, industrial revolution that gave birth to the most developed nations on the planet, the free industrialized west subsequently called the G7) that created entrepreneurs.
This is what led into American exceptionalism.
Test it out on ANY example from a Democrat, discussing what is good or bad for America. The CCP is no different.
This is modern China ,where the people are given a Social Credit score, as a result of their behaviors and words being monitored almost constantly, in an effort to please the Party. They will not "realize who they are" under this system.
Christianity is rarely a threat to any duly appointed government
Islam however...
So he dislikes Christianity and what it stands for.
It was such AN INAPPROPRIATE RESPONSE to what I wrote, it didn’t occur to me that we would have someone so against the True Nature of Christianity on this board.
Maybe you feel that way too.
