Yes, I've seen where he clarifies the misconceptions. The problem is Warren has stepped in it a few times with his reaching out to these different groups that we believers are called not to be 'like' and continues to do so. It's one thing if he was doing it with an Evangelical angle on it, but he's not. In a PBS interview with Charlie Rose, he says, “You don’t have to change your beliefs for us to work with you. I don’t insist that a Muslim change his belief for me to work on poverty. I don’t even insist that a gay person has to change their beliefs.” So why is he doing this? He's also been accused of promoting New Age Spirituality. Here's his quote on changing the Church so to speak with a 3rd reformation (dangerous ground IMHO): "He has said, “I’m looking for a second reformation. Well roman- churches do a lot of work arou8dn the world with unsaved people- and they don’t insist those people become Christians before they work with them- it’s really no different than a Christian taking a job where noone else is a Christian, and just being a good testimony while working their- letting their light shine- and not forcing the issue on the unsaved people- one can be a witness just by the way they act-

Again, i don’t know much about rick- but i do believe he has a heart for evangelizing where he can- and think probably he just wishes to be the light, the only light that some groups of people will ever see by the way her lives- maybe I’m wrong-

I was at a conference with a bunch of different missionaries. The guy from China gave a really good talk about Christianity in China. It is strong, and growing because of the persecution. He said the Christians in China are praying for us in America - so that we would be persecuted! (And get stronger, and grow.)
