That is just it! This Methodist church was AGAINST gay clergy and the like! There are some old school Methodist out there. This was one of them!
These kids did not get this from the parents they got it from the schools or internet.
If their parents are in this church they know darn well what the doctrine is and they abide by it!

My family was Baptist and Hub’s was Methodist....I asked once what was the difference and someone said Methodists believed in drinking (moderately of course) and dancing. I thought to myself that wouldn’t be so bad since Baptist took the fun out of everything but I’m glad I’m still Baptist....back slidden as can be but still keep the faith and dance and drink a little but TRUE Baptist I would bet the farm would never accept the gay lifestyle. I’ll stay where I’m at........;)
