First, the provocation: Bishop Rick Stika @BishopStika
Im very optimistic about the future of the church as I see tremendous growth in the south and southwest especially with the migration of our Hispanic brothers and sisters. We forget that in the past great gr
Then, the response to @BishopStika:
The Cath Church once had huge numbers of converts. Now, the people leaving the Church outnumber the new converts at least six-to-one. Parishes nationwide are plummeting in membership. Importing Catholics from the Decaying North and the Desperate South will not fix this problem
In the past, the growth of the Church was due to honorable, honest, lawful immigration plus the fertility of honest, non-contracepted marriages. Now we are enabling unlawful invasion to compensate for our own intentional sterility. Population replacement. It's not God's plan.
According to the stats, exactly -zero- people are reading my feeble tweets, but hey: one does what one can.
I like your tweets and agree with their thrust. I dont belong to Twitter so my views probably didn’t count. Cdl. Sarah is a bit of a head scratcher, coming from the Vatican. Youd think Bergoglio would have brought him to heel.
Well, I’ll give them a read! God bless.
God established the nations in Genesis, at the Tower of Babel. These leftist bishops are on board with a one-world government and want to invite everyone in, obliterating borders, nations, and distinctions.
These mexicans might be brothers in Christ, but they are lawbreakers, invaders and not American brothers.
They need to stay in their own country and work to fix it.
+Robert Sarah, if I had anything to say about it, would be our next Pope.
Just like I thought....The Catholic Church wants more Hispanics in the USA to try and fill their buildings and their treasury.
I gave you LIKES on all your recent.
I didn’t go into the February tweets.
I might go back to add comments.
God bless you.
That guy is a stinker.
Thank you. You’re the best!
Doesnt every church/religion want more members to help pay the bills (in addition to saving their souls, the infinitely more important outcome)? Hard to see what is different about the Catholic Church.
Well said, as usual.
I am not om Twitter. Sorry.
I personally do not mind that. I am friends with Hispanic people and more than glad to have them in the parish.
What I mind is the collusion of the USCCB and the CRS and the Migrant and Refugee activists in dissolving our southern border.
All of our ancestors were legal immigrants. By way of contrast, people who intentionally put themselves in the hands of criminal cabals to transgress our borders and flout our laws, do not correspond to the honest and honorable U.S. tradition of the legal "immigrant."
I don’t blame you for not being on Twitter. For the most part, I think it’s a big pseudo-event and a vexation of the spirit.
Just followed you. You’re making good points.
Thanks!!
Went out and responded to a tweet.
Thanks!!
