Our Lady faced on Golgotha the "complete denial" of the angel Gabriel's promise that her son would be given the throne of David

It may have seemed that way to someone lacking in Faith. Even someone with the fullness of Faith might not have known how you get from Calvary to the Throne of David ... but someone with the fullness of Faith would have been certain of that outcome.

Our Blessed Mother had the fullness of Faith.

The old joke was “is the pope Catholic?”. Now there seems to be some question whether or not he’s even christian.

The whole quote:
"On Golgotha, Mary faced the complete denial of that promise: her Son was dying on a cross like a criminal. In this way, triumphalism, destroyed by the abasement of Jesus, was likewise destroyed in the heart of his Mother."

So, he's saying she had triumphalism in her heart.

Of all people, Mary.

What an idiot. What a heretic.

I don’t think so. If one is looking for a close debate about something being a denial of God’s promise, I’d suggest that the results of the last conclave might be a better topic, but in the end, I believe that the negative side of the proposition will prevail. God is faithful, and is great. Beer is good. And PopeL are crazy.

“And Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary his mother: Behold this child is set for the fall, and for the resurrection of many in Israel, and for a sign which shall be contradicted; And thy own soul a sword shall pierce, that, out of many hearts, thoughts may be revealed.”

“Faced” not “believed.”

What Pope Francis actually said”

Yet only from that night do we see the dawn of the resurrection break forth. At the foot of the cross, Mary thought once more of the words that the angel had spoken about her Son: “He will be great… The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end” (Lk 1:32-33). On Golgotha, Mary faced the complete denial of that promise: her Son was dying on a cross like a criminal. In this way, triumphalism, destroyed by the abasement of Jesus, was likewise destroyed in the heart of his Mother.

So this pope is claiming that Jesus failed in His mission? What is next, this pretender pope denies the Divinity of Jesus Christ? This pretender pope is a heretic.

Our Lady faced on Golgotha the “complete denial” of the angel Gabriel’s promise that her son would be given the throne of David, Pope Francis palavered during his Palm Sunday homily...

Was Mary ignorant of the role her son and the son of God was assigned to play on earth?

Of COURSE Poop Francois, Pirater of Butts, would deny Mary, the Mother of God, her fulfillment.
