Reminds me of the Catholic processions, and events held in city parishes all over the East coast in the fifties and sixties.
Interesting, most inner city Catholic Parishes are often black. Not a one in this one.
Here in NJ there was outreach to blacks as the cities collapsed but it never really paid off; some Africans have revitalized scattered parishes a bit, but for the most part there are empty church buildings.
