This is an absolute outrage! Not only is it blasphemy to use a sacred object in this manner (duh!), but an upside down corpus is a satanic symbol. This bishop should be laicized. (He's a Francis-bishop, of course.)
My great grandparents immigrated from a town just 20 miles away. I can't even begin to imagine what their reaction would be. I'm still in shock after seeing it yesterday.
14-second film clip at the link above. Additional information and pictures here:

Dubbed, “YOUR Jesus.” As in “not mine.” As in a satanic taunt.

Am I wrong to immediately suspect that they’re both fags?

Words and phrases that come to mind: Blasphemous, sacrilegious, undiplomatic, indiscreet to the point of being rude.
If the Bishop likes this art so much, then have it installed in his own home or rectory. It’s not necessary to subject the parish to his whims of unusual ‘art’. Don’t force feed your personal views to everyone else.

One more descriptor: Tacky.

Not in some smart-ass avant-garde museum. In the church. Unbelievable.
To: BlessedBeGod
seems the Bishop would be far wiser to just buy an $19 Timex watch

If the Bishop likes this art so much, then have it installed in his own home or rectory. A Bishop who lies this art so much, has no business being a Bishop. Keeping this blasphemous and sacrilegious dreck private doesn't change that it is blasphemous and sacrilegious.

Hey Bishop Hermann Glettler. Get your artist to make a clock like that only with Muhammad and see how long it takes to get your church bombed.

Sue the Catholic Church for blasphemy and emotional distress. The only people who can successfully sue, in today's civil courts, for blasphemy and emotional distress are the godless islamists and homosexuals.
