I have a small New Testament from the U.S. Government Printing House, with a forward by FDR, issued to troops in the 1940s. Should libs be outraged that the government was printing bibles back then?

I have a copy of that. Decently bound little hardback, but printed on pulpy paper. I picked it up at a garage sale.

"Prepared for use of Protestant personnel of the Army of the United States."

Once belonged to one William E. Calhoun of Ingle, KY, of whom I could find out nothing.
