This is an email passed to me from ransomnote: From lyby | 03/03/2019 4:42:38 PM PST replied https://www.facebook.com/elizabethwhitenews/videos/357700505083166/UzpfSTIxNzE0NzM2MTYzNDA2NjpWSzozNTc3MDA1MDUwODMxNjY/ I teach at Sanford Middle School in rural Lee County, Alabama. This tornado destroyed homes and lives of folks in the Beauregard community. Although there are numerous fatalities, we do not know yet if those affected are our students or members of their families. Just learned a bit ago that our school is being opened as a shelter... Please offer up prayers for all impacted by this tragic event. ~ lyby
Pinging the list
Father God, we lift up the residents of Lee County, Alabama, their families, and other communities who have been affected by this violent storm. Lord, we ask for mercy. Lord, we ask that a blanket of peace and love would cover this community, that their grief would find solace in You.
Father God, we petition You to pour Your blessings upon this community and upon the saints who respond to this crisis.
In Jesus name we do pray
Praying for strength and comfort for all affected by the tornadoes.
I’m just two counties west, and have many friends and know many acquaintances in Lee County. Praying for God’s blessing on those who lost loved ones. Homes can be rebuilt, but people cannot be replaced.
Prayers up
Amen.
FATHER GOD,
Draw close to the families and friends of those who have lost loved ones from this latest tornado outbreak. May they look to You to rebuild their broken lives.
In JESUS’ Name we pray. Amen.
From the Presidential Prayer Team
A tornado watch was issued for most of Sunday for parts of Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina. Severe storms have hit several areas across several states bringing destruction to homes and power lines. In Lee County, AL, a tornado touched down and resulted in the deaths of at least 14 people. Alabama Governor Kay Ivey extended a State of Emergency for Alabama that has been ongoing for over a week.
Due to todays severe weather and tornadoes, Ive extended the State of Emergency issued on February 23 to statewide. @AlabamaEMA
Governor Kay Ivey (@GovernorKayIvey) March 3, 2019
Emergency responders have been searching for missing people and helping those injured throughout the day.
The ongoing concern as nightfall hits is that colder temperatures are following behind the storms. With temperatures possibly dropping into the 30s in parts of Georgia and across most of Alabama, many without power will need to be prepared for the overnight cold.

As the Lord Leads, pray with us:
For protection and safety over those who have lost their home or are without power and shelter.
For local law enforcement and first responders as they search for people and provide medical attention.
For the families who have already lost a loved one in the storm.
For Alabama Governor Kay Ivey and other state leaders to have wisdom to lead and provide protection and help to those in need.
Lifting up our fellow Americans in the paths of these horrible tornadoes.
Dear Jesus, please keep them safe!
Comfort those who mourn, Be with the First Responders, and help them...in Jesus Name, Amen.
Amen.
Be with them , Dear Lord. Amen.
Heavenly Father, We thank you for what You are going to do in the lives of those devastated by this tornado. We pray for comfort and hope for those who have lost loved ones and property damage. We pray also for the many who need emotional and physical healing. Father God place the right people in the right places to help and thwart those who would try to benefit from this tragedy.
