(James 1:12) Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love Him.
Heavenly Father, Lord of All, Ruler of Heaven and Earth,
We come humbly before You asking for mercy for the United States of America. As Christians we are frustrated, bewildered, and really at a loss for words for what has happened and is happening in our country. Evil is abound everywhere in magnitude proportions. Everyday at least one atrocity toward Your Holy Precepts has been purposely committed by legislators across the country. We are going from one crisis to another. . .all because we have as a nation taken our eyes off You. We know the warnings You have given for those who stray from or do not adhere to Your Word.
We are saddened by the legislation that is being passed across this nation that allows for the murder of the unborn and born. We are equally saddened by the church leaders and congregants who have been negligent in voicing opposition. Please protect our children from the perversion that is permeating the media, social media, movies, games, and school curriculum. Please also protect those in government, business, agribusiness, industry, media, families, churches, military, defenders of freedom, and health care systems who have chosen Your way to operate.
Thank You for unveiling deviant behavior in our country. We ask for Your uncovering any plans or devious plots . . . the intent of which is to dismantle our republic. Take these people out, incapacitate their ability to do further harm to the United States and its citizenry. Please put a mighty hedge of protection around our President and Vice-President and their families, the current administration, and those legislators, judges who are making decisions based upon Your Word.
Please Heavenly Father, relieve those from duty who are not in-line with what You envision for our country. . .including military leaders and judges. Protect us from invading forces causing pillage, disease, murder, rape, loss of property, sex trafficking, drugs, unrest, violence, disruption and lowering of standards in the schools.
We pray that our country will continue to stand in support of Your most-favored nation Israel and ask for protection and blessings for those around the world that are being persecuted for righteousness.
We do serve a Mighty God and pray that our President and Vice-President will always seek and follow Your Commands for the United States of America. Dear Father God, Rise up an army of believers and embolden us to stand for truth and righteousness . . .causing people to stand in awe and say “Look what the Lord has done!”.
Heavenly Father, we ask special blessings for those joining in prayer. Many have health, family, and financial issues. As it says in Your Word, You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1).
