I read The Harbinger by Jonathan Cahn and it really opened my eyes to see what's happening in our country in a new light.
I now see the illegal infiltration and and the muslims worming their way into political office as evidence of God's hand of protection having been removed.
He is trying to warn us and giving us opportunity to repent but people just keep doubling down on stupid.
I was recently reading in Amos and got to this part of chapter 4....
Amos 4:6-13 “I gave you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and lack of bread in all your places, yet you did not return to me,” declares the Lord.
“I also withheld the rain from you when there were yet three months to the harvest; I would send rain on one city, and send no rain on another city; one field would have rain, and the field on which it did not rain would wither;
so two or three cities would wander to another city to drink water, and would not be satisfied; yet you did not return to me,” declares the Lord.
“I struck you with blight and mildew; your many gardens and your vineyards, your fig trees and your olive trees the locust devoured; yet you did not return to me,” declares the Lord.
“I sent among you a pestilence after the manner of Egypt; I killed your young men with the sword, and carried away your horses, and I made the stench of your camp go up into your nostrils; yet you did not return to me,” declares the Lord.
“I overthrew some of you, as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and you were as a brand plucked out of the burning; yet you did not return to me,” declares the Lord.
“Therefore thus I will do to you, O Israel; because I will do this to you, prepare to meet your God, O Israel!” For behold, he who forms the mountains and creates the wind, and declares to man what is his thought, who makes the morning darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth— the Lord, the God of hosts, is his name!
Amazing insight on your part. Yes, I agree. While I believe that an economic and social collapse will happen in this nation post-rapture, I also believe that God is going to meet out punishment of the wicked even before that. How much longer will He wait? That is the question.

Maybe I read too much, but there is major “normalcy bias” and short-sightedness with libs in their worldview.
They never consider consequences of any action that is made. Be it financial, physical, emotional, or spiritual (gone to any palm-readers lately?).
We’ve been conversing for years about The Day of the Lord. Wondering, waiting, thinking, observing - being completely VEXED!
I’m not completely sold on the idea that we the Church will avoid any of the catastrophic reactions of the evil spewing right now. We might very well witness quite a bit.

9/11 was the shot across the bow, but the message only rattled a few.
It’s almost as if we live among those psycho’s in Sodom, who even though they were blinded by the angels, continued in their lust to try to assault them.
Hell with removing the Cross or Star of David from each and every headstone in the Arlington Cemetery.
The REAL QUESTION is, when do they start digging up the bodies & moving them to a new location.

Lee, 106 U.S. 196 (1882,)} returned the property to Lee's son because it had been confiscated without due process of law. In 1883, the government (United States) paid the Lee family $150,000. Arlington National Cemetery was established by Brig. Gen. Montgomery C. Meigs, who commanded the garrison at Arlington House, appropriated the grounds June 15, 1864, for use as a military cemetery. His intention was to render the house uninhabitable should the Lee family ever attempt to return. A stone and masonry burial vault in the rose garden, 20 feet wide and 10 feet deep, and containing the remains of 1,800 Bull Run casualties, was among the first monuments to Union dead erected under Meigs' orders. Meigs himself was later buried within 100 yards of Arlington House with his wife, father and son; the final statement to his original order.
