Pope Francis’ Summit On Clerical Sexual Abuse Was A Charade
The Federalist ^ | February 28, 2019 | John Daniel Davidson

The Vatican’s four-day summit on protecting minors ended Sunday with a whimper. There were no new “concrete, effective measures” to hold Catholic bishops accountable for ignoring and covering up sexual abuse, as Pope Francis had called for before the summit began. There were likewise no discussions of the link between sexual abuse and homosexuality among the clergy, the rampant abuse of adult seminarians by their superiors, or the case of disgraced former Archbishop Theodore McCarrick.

Instead, the summit concluded with a 3,000-word speech by Francis that contained little of substance but was heavy on defensiveness and bureaucratese. Francis rattled off a list of “best practices” for ending violence against children compiled by the World Health Organization, and offered a meandering discussion about how a “great number of” abuse cases are “committed within families”—an obvious attempt to deflect attention from the putative subject of the summit: clerical sexual abuse.

In the end, the summit accomplished almost nothing because it was designed to accomplish nothing. It was narrowly tailored to address only the sexual abuse of children, and only in a generalized way, without reference to the McCarrick affair or the problems it exposed in the American hierarchy.

Well, it’s not like Francis has just ignored the critics. He said recently that constant critics of the Church were “friends of the devil”. So there is that.

This article and that conference prove that the RC Church is a happy hunting ground for investigators of mass, organized homosexual abuse of male children. Indeed, it looks like the Church, starting with Godfather Bergoglio (Godfather, not Pope, ought to be his new title) is one giant RICO entity.

The Church has been a charade for the last half century. While it offers to help and support the victims it has done nothing to eradicate the problem.

New leader of the one world religion? When he became pope a lot of folks were saying he was the last pope.

Yes that seems to sum it up thoroughly.

Based on this there is no way I can in good conscience support the Church financially for the foreseeable future.

There were many reasons to expect nothing from the Summit:

- When the U.S. Bishops last Fall, were instructed NOT to implement fixes in the U.S., and told to wait for a "global solution' in the Feb. Summit.

- When the leadership of the Summit was announced and each was identifiable as sympathetic to the homosexual agenda.

This "summit" was Francis' indirect response to Apb Vigano's testimony. It was a lame attempt to recover some of Francis' bona fides which Vigano all but destroyed. The McCarrick saga has blown the lid off this nest of perverts and the dog and pony show which just took place in Rome essentially was the lavender mafia's attempt at damage control following Vigano's interventions. It was a public relations stunt.

The sex abuse issue will destroy this heretical pontificate and thwart the plans of Bergoglio and his heretical sodomite pals. God is at work here and the plans of the wicked shall come to naught.
