Ditto all - Nashville and New York have NEVER spoken for the pews. And the schools obviously don’t either.

If college presidents want to go their own way, fine, let them leave the church money behind too. It’s their business if they think God has changed his teachings, I have not heard from Him on any changes.

Grew up Methodist, wondering why no one in the hierarchy gets a clue ... the laity don’t want this, they want Biblical teaching and if the Bible is no longer taught in the UMC, people will leave.

I married a Mennonite farmer. They are going through the same contortions. We now go to an evangelical church where the Bible is taught.
