Father God, You the King of eternity, incorruptible and immortal, invisible, the only God. To You be honor and glory forever and ever Amen.

Immortal, Invisible God

Father, in the name of Jesus we pray for Your Church today. Help us to rise up in love, in power, in holiness, in commitment to glorify You. May our light so shine before men that they may see our moral excellence and our praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify our Father Who is in heaven! Holy Spirit, complete that good work You have begun in us and cause us to bear fruit in every good work.

Father, we pray Romans 12 over Your body. Teach us how to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to You. Strengthen us to not be conformed to this world but transformed by the renewal of our minds, so that we may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Correct us so that we will not think of ourselves more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment

Let us use the gifts You have given us: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; he who teaches, in his teaching; 8 he who exhorts, in his exhortation; he who contributes, in liberality; he who gives aid, with zeal; he who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.

Let Your love shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit be genuine; hating what is evil, holding fast to what is good; loving one another with brotherly affection; outdoing one another in showing honor. Fire us up in zeal for Your House and Your Kingdom to serve You. Cause us to rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Give us seeds to sow in order to contribute to the needs of the saints and practice hospitality.

With this love, so far as it depends upon us, we will live peaceably with all. We will never avenge ourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God; for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” When our enemies are hungry, give us food and a heart to feed them. in order to heap burning coals upon his head.” By Your life living within us, we will not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Thank You, Father, for helping us to accomplish the assignment You have for each one of us. You never leave us or forsake us. Like all of the great saints of old, we trust in Your grace and power to accomplish that which needs to be done.
