Have a source, other than Pro-Russia, pro-separatist propaganda pages?
The entire Ukraine situation is very close to my heart - and I have been quite open to digging into the news and information way beyond what our own horrendous media spoon feeds.
I spent two weeks in Ukraine last Spring and talked to a LOT of people from differing walks - some were Ukrainian speakers, some Russian - some with active ties to Russia, some in positions of government - Ukraine has serious problems - the bulk of which have been brought about by Russia, both historically (old Soviet Union), and more recently as Putin has systematically been attacking Ukraine via economic means, political means, technologically, via resources, and in a massive disinformation campaign. And there are pro-Putin moles and plants throughout the Ukrainian government, despite efforts to root them out.

For someone so interested in Ukraine, it’s rather shocking that this is news to you. Perhaps you ought to diversify your information sources?
