I was not claiming that you were trying to “sneak” anything in. But I always tell my church members to be very careful when they make assumptions about the Bible stories or “myths” the believe. Like everyone thinks Mary rode a donkey, there were three wise men, or that the wise men showed up at the manger.
When we use “singing” but the Bible says “saying”, then we are giving a wrong message and need to be careful. The vast majority of English translations read “saying”, not singing, so I assume there are contextual reasons for the translators to ALL use “saying”.
