Why? Because he realizes that the Catholic Church has given up and, under Frankie, has gone over to the dark side. Francis essentially handed over all the orthodox and legitimately ordained Catholic “underground” bishops to the Chinese government and made the Chinese Patriotic Church the go-to organization. And there is nothing the “Chinese Patriotic Church” can do or believe without the approval of the Chinese government. Everything is very restricted, people under the age of 18 are not allowed to attend Christian services, etc. But that’s okay with the stupid Marxist traitor and heretic in the Vatican.

So that’s why China is feeling emboldened. The last bastion has fallen.

I am hopeful that faithful Catholics will form house churches. Not sure how they will hold Mass and have communion without an ordained priest?

One thing for sure, Xi (with Pope Frankie's help) can suppress the faithful all he likes but it won't really matter.
