P R A Y E R

Dear Father God,
Son Our Savior, and Holy Spirit,

We praise Your unfathomable glory and majesty!

We raise our hands and hearts in gratitude for this blessed season of the newness of life, praising You and giving thanks that You sent Your Son as a tiny human baby to show us the Way, to grow in wisdom and ministry, and even one day to die for our Salvation. We are miserable sinners, yet your grace is so boundless in mercy for our errors! Help us to serve You, dearest Lord, to grow in faith and rejection of sin, and to uphold Your gift of Life as we pray for our nation.

In sorrow and shame we lift up all purveyors, practitioners and advocates of elective abortion, designer genetic manipulation, sex selection, hormonal and surgical sex change practices, and third-party surrogacy in support of disordered sexual relationships. Can there be any greater repudiation of Your Created Order, Lord God? We pray for a change of heart towards Life among all lawgivers, legislators, judges, medical personnel, tissue harvesters and researchers and the media who have enabled or promoted these transgressive acts, that their souls may be saved, and that their influence over young people may be steadily diminished.

We thank You for those practitioners who have already repented and have made it their mission to push back against all wicked exploitation of the gift of sexuality and the commercialization of this heartless industry.We thank you for the Christians of conscience who have stood witness outside these businesses for the past 45 years to reach out to women with crisis pregnancies, and ask Your blessing and protection on them, dearest Lord.

We thank You for the supportive pro-life pregnancy centers and all who donate time, materials, expertise and funds to them. And we thank You for the mothers and fathers who choose life, regardless of the hardship. We praise You for bringing Christians alongside them, Lord, to help them establish homes for their children.

We pray for the renewal of chastity and sanctity in marriage, so that homes may be safe and loving for spouses and children, full of prayer, scripture study, and the JudeoChristian values that founded our nation and helped us achieve greatness in the past. As has been said of our heroic troops, there are only two men who will die for your safety and freedom: Jesus Christ and the American soldier. We pray today for Your favored selection of a new Secretary of Defense, a leader who will help our President to restore the honor and sacredness of the military profession in these United States.

And we thank You, Lord God Almighty, for the life You have given each of us, and our tasks as intercessors. Those of us who are parents and grandparents thank You on our knees for this role in our lives, and seek Your guidance always on behalf of those who come behind us, and those for whom we pray.

Lord, I echo every word of this prayer and praise. Father God, we lift up those who have worked to remind this fallen world of the sanctity of life and who have offered unmarried women options.

Father God, we also lift up those who seek to destroy the order of Your design, the truth and the power in Your Word, and have steered our culture to destruction. Lord, we ask that their hearts be softened and that they repent. Woe to this nation, should we continue to embrace wickedness.

Father God, merciful Father, thank You so much for safely escorting Your servant President Trump and his beautiful wife to Iraq and Germany. Thank You for providing a President who loves our soldiers.

Thank You. And in Jesus’ name we do pray.

Protect our borders. Expose and disable the plans of those who desire to bring America to its knees. Bring them to JUSTICE.
