That parish handles the college ministry for Mississippi State University. There are a couple hundred broken-hearted and disillusioned students there. They loved Fr. Lenin, and were devastated when they found out he was a lying, sexually impure crook. They love Fr. Rusty, too, and were grateful to be able to have him walk through this horror with them. I am so sad that my daughter has to learn about evil within the clergy and the leadership in this way, at this time of her life. How many students will walk away from the Church and any or all organized religion because of this?
