This is actually a strange thing for a Muslim to say, because in Islam, Jesus is regarded as a great prophet and a precursor to Mohammed. Islam denies Jesus' divinity, but certainly not his existence.

In fact, I even recall reading about cases where religious authorities in Muslim countries punish attacks on Jesus as blasphemy. Some sects of Islam, like the Syrian Alawites, even observe Christian holidays. Of course, this isn't universal, since what a religion teaches in theory and its practice are often two very different things.

I know MANY who believe they are Christian who don’t believe the Divinity of Jesus.

I had forgotten that Islam recognizes Jesus as a prophet. I guess this guy is saying most Muslims are wrong. BTW, do you know if Jesus is mentioned in the Koran? Otherwise, how do they know Jesus was a prophet?

Good point. He has just denied the accuracy and inerrancy of the Koran. I think this should be widely publicized back home.
