I just want to say that David Wood-and the handful of Christians in attendance-exhibited the attributes that one would expect from people who were saved from death by Jesus Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit.

While his opponent, and almost all of the Muslims in attendance-with the exception of the evening's host, who deserves to be commended for his efforts to impose civility-exhibited all of the attributes of those who are profoundly lost and who venerate a man who was imbued with wickedness, and served as the literal translator of the Devil.

Even so, I hope that some of David Wood's graciousness, intellect, and compelling witness of the Triune God had an impact on at least some of the Muslims in attendance. I'd recommend watching the video recording of the event, which is already online.

Before the actual debate began there was a more than five minute-long Muslim call to prayer but no mention of the Triune God or opportunity for the handful of Christians who were able to attend to pray in unison.

Throughout the event the assembled variously: Cheered the persecution and execution of Christians, e.g. when David Wood mentioned the Diocletian and Decian persecutions in response to an attack by his opponent over the lack of a formal Trinitarian creed in early Christianity.

Interrupted the proceedings by issuing blood-curdling screams in Arabic praising "Allah" and Mohammed, the 7th century Arab warlord. Interrupted David Wood when he clearly explained absurd passages of the Koran, such chapters which describe a flock of birds interceding on behalf of people on the day of Judgement.
