I don't know any Christian who worships art. Veneration is not worship.
Christians on this post are seeing 'divinity' in an mere accident.
Don't wish to anger our Catholic brethren(they have enough problems without me plying on) but their praying to medallions of saints and statues of the Blessed Virgin seem to fall within this category
There is a good reason why historically Jews, most old(Protestant) Christians churches and even Muslims don't have images of their Deity in their houses of worship.

Or wallet. On your phone. When you see the picture, it brings back memories of that person. Unless you are mentally unstable, you never confuse the image of the person with the person. We Catholics do not pray TO the picture or statue. It helps bring the person or God to top of mind.
