Obviously, Amir doesn’t think the S-300s in Syria are all that great, but maybe it’s a difference without a difference as far as the current situation is concerned.

The Israelis play things close to the vest (except for when they want something known for a specific purpose), so it’s hard to know the details, but he has mentioned superior Israeli electronic warfare.

Perhaps, but as of now the Russians have just brought in their 2nd string jammers - so what the Israeli’s have tested against was whatever 3rd string jammers the Russians had previously supplied.

Whether or not the Israelis can defeat the Russian 2nd string is an open question as yet.
