IIRC, since 1952 the Roman Catholic vote has gone for the presidential demoncrat in all but four elections. I’ll post the results later. Roman Catholics decidedly gave us JFK.
In 2016, that changed when the votes coming from BOTH faithful Catholics and conservative Evangelicals went to President Donald J. Trump.
And why do you suppose Catholics voted for JFK? Could if had had something to do with the anti-Catholic venom that was deployed against him during the campaign?
