I have recently come to the same conclusion. Benedict’s resignation gave them the rope to hang themselves with.

it would be interesting if Pope Frances resigned and there was a conclave and Benedict was reinstated as pope. of course I don’t see the current Pope resigning. he will hold on till the end.

That all had started to dawn on me the last couple of years; no matter how good Benedict was, he could not have cleaned out the sewer. Francis coming as the obvious Satanic Disciple shakes things the Hell up big time and makes the hidden things start flashing red and orange lights. When Ben resigned and there was much wailing and mourning, I kept telling myself and others that these things happen for a Reason but I didn’t think I would live long enough for it to become apparent. I had not firmed it up in my mind sufficiently to keep me from decrying the evil things that are transpiring. This piece settles me. God is stirring the pot to bring the dross to the top.

This argument certainly makes sense.

Not allowed to mention another denomination in a Catholic Caucus thread. I will ask the Religion Mod to have your comment removed.

Please lighten up. Half the fun on reading these threads are the divergent paths that the comments section takes.

God brings good out of evil. This Pope is forcing people who worship the Popes and their every word to learn to look at what is authentic Magisterial teaching and what are popes pontificating on matters not regarding faith or morals and/or statements not congruent with Magisterial teachings.

Not my personal choice. Those are the Caucus rules. People who violate are in trouble with the Religion Mod.
I personally would often prefer to let non-Caucus people post if they stay on-topic and don't throw any stink-bombs.

I'm dealing with a balky computer and a gastro-gastric fistula. Both have impeded my ability to continuously curate my Caucus thread.
BTW, now please ask to be removed. You are in violation.

I think we will find out he was pressured out and God let him resign because he knows that this sets a precedent to force another Pope to resign which is what we need in this case.
